The Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) strategy, known as “Planète Barrière,” structures and integrates environmental and societal issues into the Group's business activities.

Founded over a century ago, the Group attaches particular importance to human values and respect for the environment.

Its ambition is to offer its customers a high-end experience marked by friendliness.

This approach is supported by the Governance and embodied by all teams.

Within Maison Barrière Vendôme, a Sustainable Development Officer, acting as a conductor, works to implement the CSR strategy through multiple actions and partnerships that highlight our regional roots.

Customers, teams, local authorities, suppliers, partners... All stakeholders are on board thanks to a constructive and cooperative approach.

As part of the Barrière Group's CSR commitment, long-term partnerships have been established to support projects with a social and environmental impact.

Café Joyeux

To offer more responsible services and raise awareness about disability in a different way, Maison Barrière Vendôme has been supporting Café Joyeux for several years. Café Joyeux is a social enterprise whose mission is to integrate people with mental and cognitive disabilities through work, professional training, and social interaction. Its ambition is to change perceptions of disability and encourage social interaction by offering work in a normal environment to people who are far from the job market. To support this company, Maison Barrière Vendôme offers its customers Café Joyeux coffee capsules.

Soap recycling

Used soap bars are given a new lease of life thanks to charitable organizations, while contributing to humanitarian causes. This more sustainable and socially responsible initiative aims to combat waste and provide access to hygiene for those most in need. As a result, more than 3.1 tons of soap were recycled across the Group in 2024.

Throughout October, the teams at Maison Barrière Vendôme are rallying together to support the fight against breast cancer through solidarity and awareness-raising initiatives such as pink runs and walks organized across the country, as well as through financial support for associations committed to the cause.
