Created in 2003, Tourism & Handicap is a state label managed by Atout France since May 2024. It is to date the only certification dedicated to tourism accessibility for people with disabilities and is unique in the world. Its objective is to encourage tourism professionals to adapt their offer and to guarantee an adapted welcome for all. It helps to accompany tourist structures in their accessibility efforts while providing a clear and reassuring reference for visitors with disabilities. Currently, 3,700 establishments in France benefit from this labeling. The Resort Barrière Ribeauvillé has obtained the label at the casino and spa for motor, mental, and auditory disabilities, and at the hotel for motor and mental disabilities.
