The resort of Le Touquet can indeed be proud to have 20 buildings listed in the Inventory of Historic Monuments, including Le Phare de la Canche located behind the Hotel. The majority of these buildings were built in the 1920s, period of the Roaring Twenties and are private properties (villas), whose roof and facade are preserved because of their original or representative architecture, their historical and artistic interest. Municipal buildings such as the Town Hall or the Covered Market are the pride of the city.
