Opened in 1929 on the heights of Mont-Canisy a few minutes from the town centre, the Golf Barrière Deauville is renowned as one of the most beautiful golf courses in France. Architects Tom Simpson and Henry Cotton designed the courses, thus giving every player a diversity of experiences in an ...environment of 70 hectares. The Barrière Golf Academy by Julien Xanthopoulos offers a range of options catering for all levels and all ages with rich and varied programs to learn or develop your game. Magnificently maintained and offering numerous views over the sea and countryside, the Golf Barrière Deauville is a genuine championship golf course that has in the past played host to the Open de France, the Ebel Match Play and the Air France Madame, highly popular events among numerous champions such as Gary Player, Tony Jacklin and Peter Fowler. It now hosts the Lacoste Ladies Open de France, bringing together the best European players. Major international stars in Deauville for the American film festival such as Michael Douglas come to enjoy this unspoilt location. The completely renovated Club House is ideal for a break overlooking the course.

During the April holidays, treat your children to a sporty outdoor break with our golf and tennis camps.
